My name is Phil  Martin and I am a Mortgage Banker and Certified Mortgage Advisor.   Helping people reach their home ownership goals is something I love to do with many families and Real Estate agents all over our great state.
 
Interest Rate on a mortgage is important.   But there is more to consider.   Consider that buying a home is, most likely, the biggest financial event that will ever occur in your life and involves your most important assets - your family.   Also consider that how, where and with whom you buy your house will potentially have a direct impact on your families ability to save for retirement and college educations, your financial and marital security, where and when you go on vacation from year to year and more.    

As your trusted advisor, it is these areas I have in mind when helping you understand the process and impact of home purchase and ownership.    

Life experience:   I was born in Texas.  I have a geology degree from Eastern New Mexico University and an MBA from Duke University.   I served as an Infantry Officer in the US Army after college.  I then served in positions of leadership in private industry for more than 13 years establishing myself as an expert in anti-check fraud and anti-counterfeiting with governments and Fortune 100 clients around the world.   For more than 4 years, I have committed my experience and knowledge to helping families and Real Estate Agents in Texas.    

I am married to Debbie.   Together, we have 2 daughters in college and one son still at home.  Another son is serving in the US Marine Corp.
